Last Saturday while we were shopping at Win-Co there was a stack of box's of flower bulbs for sale. Mom let Aasha and I choose one for us to grow. She chose a Dalia and i chose a Daylily.
There is only one bulb in each box, but they are big bulbs, and they turn out to be beautiful flowers.
On Friday my family and I went outside to do some yard work. After we got done with the yard work Hyram, Tyra and Hanna went inside to get ready to go out for dinner and go see the movie "Monster's VS. Aliens." Dad but away a few more things and Mom helped Aasha and I choose good spots for us to plant our flowers. It ended up not being as hard as i thought it would be but it was just a little dirty.
Now that the flower bulb is planted, lets see if I can keep it alive.

The whole keeping it alive thing is always my challenge as well. When we do live in a place with grass, it is always my husband's job to keep things growing.

I love your blog. I know what you mean about keeping plants alive. My co-workers bought me desert rose when grandpa died. Instead of blooming it is now withering away. :(
