The Cheif de Resistance

Yep you guessed it. Cinnamon Chips. So we bought a bag so that we can try them out. I finally mustered up the courage to try them out yesterday. I decided to make just regular chocolate chip cookies, but replaced the chocolate chips with the Cinnamon chips.

I chose a recipe...

Turned on some music...

And started mixing away.

Than i drooped a bunch on some cookie sheets, and hoped they would turn out ok...

When they came out they looked beautiful...

And tasted fabulous

Sleep Over

Hanna and Tyra have some really good friends, Jackie and Cora, who enjoy coming to church with us. So last night they had a sleep over so that they can come to church with us today. Last night after everyone had gotten ready for bed and made up their beds on the floor in the living room, we put on "Scooby-Doo and the Mexican Monser"

The Donut Machine

Yesterday afternoon I was extremely bored so i decided to make some homemade donuts. I made up the dough, and than mom helped me cook them and than she helped me Cinnamon them and powdered surged them.

When you make donuts you have to drop them into HOT deep lard. When the donut floats to the top, it is time to flip, and than a minute or so later, its time to take out. When all the greese has driped off, and has cooled down a little, than you can drop it into a bag of powdered sugar or cinimon, close the bad a shake, than scoop it out and eat. Yumm!

The Finished Product!

2009 Flooding

Most of you have already heard of the flooding that has been taking place here in Washington. It has been pretty remarkable and very damaging. My family was lucky to not of been hit with the flood waters. As we are 100 feet above the river. But there were chances of floating trees taking out our new bridge on Mt. Si road. Which is our only access in and off of our road. Here are a few pictures of the flooding in North bend and Snoqualmie. I did not take these pictures. I found them on google. But hopefully they are enough to show you about how much water there actually was.
